The project

Life on Earth is threatened by human activity. 50% of the biodiversity as been lost in the last 50 years, and scientists talk about a 6th mass extinction. As we are running toward a catastrophy, some women and men act to save wildlife on all continents. These enthusiastic and indispensable initiatives are the beginning of a new hope to reconsolidate with nature : rewilding.

Into the Rewild is a collection of documentary films that explores the notion of rewilding and even beyond. Each film invites the viewer to meet with activists and discover concrete projects allowing nature to come back freely and let us question our relationship with wilderness.

The team

Into the Rewild is a project imagined and presented by Arnaud Hiltzer. After collaborating for four years with the photographer and director Yann Arthus-Bertrand within the GoodPlanet Foundation, he founded the production company Hello Emotion in 2015, to produce films in the fields of outdoor, adventure and of the environment. With Into the Rewild, he wishes to personally explore and highlight concrete initiatives that work to bring humans and wild nature closer together.
